Level 1 – Introduction to Carbine Course

3 to 4 Hour Classroom Instruction


This course is geared towards anyone looking to buy their first Carbine. It offers future or current AR15 owners an extensive hands-on experience with several different brands and manufacturers of carbines. This class takes place in our classroom then following up at the range. Class typically last 3.5 to 4 hours.

Students will become familiarized with the Carbine weapon system and will learn the basics necessary to select, own and maintain the carbine that’s right for them based on cost and intended use. Students do not need to have an AR Rifle, but are welcome to bring one if they do.

All students must have the legal ability to own a firearm. Minors 15 or older are allowed with accompanying Parent or Legal Guardian.

– Note taking material
– AR/CAR15 with sling (1, 2, or 3 point sling is acceptable)
– 3 or more 30 round magazines
– 150 rounds of factory ammunition
– Wrap around Eye Protection
– Ear protection (electronic preferred)
– Baseball style hat
– Shooting gloves
– Seasonal weather gear/rain gear
– Method of carrying magazines (chest, waist, or thigh rig).
– Cleaning kit/lubrication
– Range snacks & water

Cancellation Policy

  • Full refund – Cancelled within 1 week of class.
  • 75% refund – Cancelled within 72 hours of class.
  • No refund – Cancelled less than 72 hours of class.
  • Reschedule is allowed.
